FESTIVITIES

Malpica de Bergantiños is a territory which it shares with joy the festivities that combine tradition, culture, and entertainment with religious fervour. There are more than thirty celebrations sponsored by the different parishes, associations or by the Town Hall.

The year begins with the celebration of San Julian, in the parish of Seaia, these festivities are very well attended and liven up the first days of January, after Christmas, and the festivities end on 26th December with the honour to San Esteban in Buño. But throughout the year there are events on the calendar that they cannot be missed: the romeria to San Adrian, the Festivities of the Sea, the Mostra da Olería (Potters Exhibition) or the carnival are a good number of reasons to visit our town.
