San Miro

This oval-shaped beach is located in an unspoilt area some 5.5 miles from the capital town of the municipality. It is a windy beach, with fine white sand and rough waves, very much liked by surfers looking for an alternative to Area Maior or Seaia.

Frequent visitors come here to find tranquillity and relax in the sun, since bathing is highly discouraged due to the dangerous sea conditions.

It is accessible by road from the town of Buño and also along Os Pinos no Mar Route, beginning in Malpica and running through a pine grove right along the coastal edge up to the limit of the Razo beach, Carballo.
