The following routes are included in the book: Paths in the Municipality of Malpica of the Bergantinhos Region. Twelve Itineraries to Get to Know the Northern Shore of the Death Coast.

Five thousand copies in Galician, profusely illustrated to make multiple aspects of the Malpican municipality known, and written by Xosé M. Varela and Héctor M. Pose. Photographs by Alfredo Blanco, Susana Choucinho, Ineco.Biofoto, Municipal Photographic Archive (Series 'Malpica in Pictures' by Xurxo Alfeiran) and by the text's authors.

The foreword was written by the novelist Francisco X. Fernández Naval.

Walking, walking in search for knowledge, taking pleasure in watching or, simply, forgetting routines. Getting lost on infinite paths interwoven by Nature or the devastating hand of insensitive man. Finding traditional buildings which disappear, striking a conversation with the busy farmer or with the old women on the double door's plinth. Sometimes, the sensations stem from the silence, from the smells at dusk and from the fish mixed with the shouts of the fish merchants taking over. Twelve ballast sailboats and asphalt streets to get to know each other better, rediscover quotidian things and valuing that which is characteristically ours to preserve it. Texts, information and images are put at the traveller's disposal as a humble contribution by the authors who once again enjoyed the paradoxes of these Bergantinhan lands and its people.
